V-Tread at Virgin Active Health Clubs

Not your run-of-the-mill group exercise class

When it comes to putting one foot in front of the other, you can be sure that the most fun you'll have is during a V-Tread group exercise class.

Launched nationwide in April this year, and totally exclusive to Virgin Active Health Clubs, this innovative class follows the success and popularity of V-Cycle, our indoor cycling group exercise. V-Tread adopts the ‘group motivational’ concept and its varied workout options similar to V-Cycle, but instead applies it to the treadmill - still the most popular gym equipment in the UK.

V-Tread will take place in the main workout area of the club, allowing participants to enjoy a group exercise session in a familiar, comfortable environment. V-Tread is aimed at members of all fitness levels - members can work at their own level whilst enjoying the motivational benefits of a group exercise environment.

Walk if you can't run

You don't have to be a long-distance marathon runner to enjoy this class. You can choose the level at which you walk or run and still benefit from the range of variations in exercise that this class offers. Classes are set to last 30 minutes inclusive of a 5-minute warm up and cool down at the beginning and end of each session.

Get into the group

Studies show that exercising as part of a group heightens motivation and increases fitness levels as people push themselves a little further that what they would if they were to exercise alone. Our inspirational fitness instructors offer positive encouragement, helping you to reach your fitness goals and reach your fitness potential.
