We love getting involved

We put our money where our mouth is by supporting sports and fitness events way beyond the walls of our clubs. We sponsor a number of events right across the country and just around the corner - from the Virgin Active London Triathlon to the fun run in your local park.

The Virgin Active London Triathlon

We are proud to sponsor the world’s largest and most iconic triathlon. In fact, it’s even got our name in its title – the Virgin Active London Triathlon. Over 13,000 participants swim, cycle and run past a string of iconic London locations including Canary Wharf, The London Eye and Big Ben. Fancy giving it a go next year? Competitors will be aged from 15 and compete over 3 different triathlon distances, both as individuals and in teams. We also hold regular indoor triathlon events. We’ve called our indoor triathlon a TRYathlon for good reason. You don’t need to be super fit, have done a triathlon before or even own a bike. You just need to be willing to give it a try.
