Take on the October gym floor challenge at Virgin Active Health Clubs with our Indoor Dry Tri – a unique take on Triathlon, designed to give our members a chance to try three cardio exercises and beat their best throughout the month.
The classic swim-bike-run event continues to grow in popularity as one of Britain’s biggest participation sports. Check out some of the photos from the 2013 Virgin Active London Triathlon to see for yourself.
To give everyone a chance at their own triple-discipline activity, we’ve created our own Dry Tri, with all three sports taking place on the gym floor.
Take on 1km rowing, 5km on a bike and a 1km treadmill run to test yourself this month. To take part in the challenge, record the times for your first efforts, then try again and smash your best. Easy.
Either take on all three disciplines back-to-back or one at a time, on different days. Whatever’s best for you, it’s all good.
Throughout the month, we’ll be offering up some great prizes for members taking part and beating their best. Simply tweet your times to @VirginActiveUK with the tag #drytri to join in the conversation.
At the end of the month, we’ll present you with a certificate and our Fitness Coaches will be on hand to help you with your times. Speak to a member of the fitness team at your club to get started with a challenge card so you can keep a note of your times.
