So how does altitude training work? Air gets thinner the higher you go and lower oxygen levels mean you make more red blood cells. Your heart and lungs work harder to adapt so you end up moving and using oxygen more efficiently, which makes you stronger. No wonder elite athletes like Bradley Wiggins head for the heights as part of their training to get that competitive edge. 
You’ll quickly discover the IC7 bike is a winner. Aside from the great graphics and brilliant virtual landscapes, forget wondering how hard you’re cycling or when to up the gears: colours light up on top of the bike to match your effort, so the instructor can choose to challenge you further in the heart thumping red zone or give you a little recovery time in the white zone. Be warned - there’s no place to hide when muscles start to zing but the rewards are worth it when you come back down to earth feeling stronger, fitter, faster.

Whether you’re training for a triathlon, want to get fitter or acclimatise for a ski trip, jump in the IC7 saddle and feel the difference. 

There’s no need for any altitude induction with this class just come along, enjoy the music and start pedalling.

Make sure you arrive five minutes early for the first class so we can set up your bike.
