Tradition meets dynamic function in this 55-minute class where classical reformer Pilates goes hand in hand with functional training concepts to give a total body and core workout.

Using the reformer bed, you’ll glide, pull and stretch yourself like never before, sculpting and toning your body from top to bottom as you go. You’ll be taught the essential breathing techniques needed to reduce stress and build your stamina and endurance.

It’s great for injury prevention and rehabilitation and helps to strengthen opposing muscle groups, which increases efficiency and improves that much needed flexibility. You’ll be able to go further and push harder which a much lower risk of injury.

The class takes place in the dedicated Reformer Pilates studio, with one member per reformer bed. There will be a host of apparatus provided to help you gain the most from the session. These include a sitting box, jump board and a traditional Pilate’s ring. Along with the bed, these will be used in a set of focused and structured movements designed to reduce stress on the spine while improving core strength and balance.
