Get roped in to this fantastic piece of kit for some killer cardio and targeted muscle work. These heavy, supersized ropes add resistance, working your abs, arms, shoulders as well as conditioning and engaging your legs without any of the strain of a high impact activity. Try battling your way through some of these great battle rope exercises.

Kettlebells

Who knew you could do so much with just one piece of kit. These ball-shaped weights with attached handles are hugely versatile, allowing you to develop almost every aspect of your fitness, from endurance and strength to agility and balance. 

Harness the power of the kettlebell for a full body workout that’ll get you burning fat and engaging with different muscle groups for a more sculpted physique. There are endless exercise variations you can do, but here are a few of our favourites.

TRX

Developed by a former Navy Seal, this form of suspension training develops your strength, balance, flexibility and core stability, all whilst building muscle. 

TRX are those black and yellow straps you’ll see hanging around the gym floor. They rely on your own bodyweight for resistance as opposed to machines or dumbbells, while the infinite variety of exercises makes it perfect for everyone regardless of ability. Try a few of them next time you’re in the gym.

Plyo Box

Think outside the box and supercharge your workout with one of these challenging platforms, perfect for plyometric exercise. This refers to activities that allow your muscles to work at their hardest in the shortest time possible. Whatever action you’re doing, whether it’s push-ups, dips, burpees or even just stepping up onto the box, you’ll work different muscles and challenge your body to gain new benefits.
