Our new boutique style club - Virgin Active Mayfair

Virgin Active Mayfair has relaunched with an exciting makeover with over 200 exhilarating and re-energising timetabled classes per week as well as a fully upgraded gym offering and pool in the heart of central London.  

 

Found just metres from Oxford Street, central London, Virgin Active Mayfair has been relaunched to provide members with a new boutique-style studio environment. Boasting four new bespoke studios, home to Barre, Reformer Pilates, HEAT and Punch, Lift & Row, Virgin Active Mayfair offers members the largest selection of signature programming – all available under one roof within one monthly membership fee.

 

Barre enthusiasts can benefit from Virgin Active’s first dedicated Barre studio, with a class capacity of twenty-six, whilst those keen to work up a sweat during high performance training can take advantage of Virgin Active’s biggest HEAT studio in the UK, alongside the already popular cycle class, Revolution, which has been updated in Mayfair to offer members cleated cycle shoes and an immersive lighting experience. 

 

In a first for Virgin Active members, the Mayfair gym will also debut the brand-new strength and cardio programmes, Row Strong and Shift Strong. Both developed to build strength, stamina and stability through dedicated upper and lower body focuses, which train the entire body, developing a stronger, leaner and fitter physique. 

 

In addition to the two brand-new classes, new studio spaces also host custom built training rigs, nine WaterRowers and nine ring-side boxing bags and ozone dried boxing gloves for Virgin Active’s signature Punch boxing class.

 

The whole-gym refurbishment also includes two timetable additions for Mayfair members looking to restore and rebalance through Hot Yoga and Reformer Pilates. Hot Yoga has been added to the current yoga timetable at Virgin Active Mayfair, whilst twenty-two Reformer Pilates beds have also been installed, providing members with an enhanced offering. Combined, these two additions will give Mayfair members 66 opportunities a week to reset and realign.
