Is it just us or are birthday parties getting more extravagant and even more expensive? Birthday parties, especially kids ones, are meant to be filled with fun and finger food - and of course lots of cake. Luckily, that’s just what you’ll find at a Virgin Active junior birthday party.

What happens at a Virgin Active birthday party?

At a Virgin Active birthday party, you’re in control. (Why wouldn’t you be?) For the next hour and a half, it’s all about your child and their friends having a good time and letting off some steam.

We’ve got a selection of activities for your child, however they fancy celebrating. Choose from:

The Pool Party - a splash session in the pool with floats and toys

Celebrate with a Racket - take to the court with tennis-themed games and matches

The Padel Party - try your hand at Padel with head-to-head games

Super Sports Day - if it gets them active, competitive and sweaty it’s in

Birthday Games - think ‘Pass the Parcel’ to other popular games, this ones for the peaceful kind

The Arty Party - make, create and craft with paper, paints and more

Or tell us your theme and we’ll build you a bespoke party.

We won’t only handle the party plans but invites, balloons, food and party bags are all on us too. All you need to do is bring the cake and candles.

Speaking of food, most of our birthday parties are catered for by Kauai - serving up nutritious quesadillas, wraps, smoothies and more.

Who can have a Virgin Active birthday party?

As much as we’d love to throw parties for parents, our junior birthday bashes are for kids aged 3 - 15. They can bring 12 or more friends along with them too. And the best part? Our birthday parties are open to non-members as well as members and in the meantime parents can enjoy a little break in the pool, gym or a class if there’s space.

How do I book?

To book for your child or to create a customised birthday party, speak to the team at reception in your local Virgin Active or give them a ring. Prices start from just £180 for 12 children, with a £100 deposit taken when you book.
