Training Programme
As an official HYROX partner, we’re proud to offer our own HYROX Youngstars training programme in club.
It's a fun, confidence-boosting fitness experience created specifically for Youngstars, blending running with the strength and coordination of functional training, all scaled to be age appropriate, safe and supportive for juniors.
Training sessions will be held at:
Chiswick Riverside, Chelmsford, Northampton Collingtree Park & Riverside Park, Sheffield, Solihull and Thundersley.
Youngstars Dates:
W/C 6 April: Education Station & Rowing Competition
Come into club and find out more about the Virgin Active HYROX Youngstars training programme. Give your junior a taste of HYROX Youngstars by joining our cardio challenge.
W/C 13 April: 30min Taster Sessions
Taster sessions will be running in club for juniors to try the class ahead of the 10 week programme. These will be 30 minutes long, slightly shorter than Youngstars classes.
W/C 20 April: Training Begins
Week 1 of the training programme begins.
W/C 22 June: Youngstars In-Club Event
At the end of the 10 week programme, juniors will take part in an in-club event, similar to the official HYROX Youngstars events.

What have experienced Youngstars enjoyed?
Who can join the training programme?
Junior members aged 8 - 15 can train with us. Training sessions will be split into two age categories 8-11 and 12-15, with each group no more than 8 juniors.
Why join the training programme?
Whether your junior is new to structured exercise or already active, each session will support them to learn new skills, have fun and discover what they’re capable of, all in a friendly, positive environment.
What’s included?
It’s a 10 week programme with 1 session per week.
Our HYROX qualified Personal Trainers will help get your junior ready for the big day, teach them everything they need to know and how to perfect every move.
If they want to feel extra confident on race day (and if there are classes available) they can join a second weekly session or sign up for PT sessions with their programme instructor.
