Referral offer terms

Refer someone on to a 12-month membership and get one month free

1. If a member of Virgin Active UK refers a non-member to join Virgin Active UK, and the non-member joins Virgin Active UK under a 12-month adult membership agreement from 1 April 2024 up to and including 30 April 2024, the referring member will be given one month of their membership cost for free. (“Offer”).

2. This offer does not apply where the referred non-member joins on a junior, Vitality, Gymflex, corporate funded or temporary membership (where a member pays up front for membership for an agreed period of time).

3. The offer does not apply if the referring member is in arrears or is a member of Virgin Active on a corporate funded or Gymflex membership.

4. The one month free period will be applied to August 2024.

5. A Virgin Active membership agreement must be fully signed by the referred non-member before or on the End Date. This offer does not apply if the referred non-member terminates their membership within 30 days of joining.

6. For the referring member to receive one month free, the referred non-member must state that they have been referred by the referring member to join the club under this offer at or before the time the referred non-member signs their Virgin Active membership agreement.

7. A referring member can refer multiple members and can receive one month free for each member referred under the conditions above. For example, if one non-member is referred and joins in April 2024, the member will receive one month free in August 2024. If two non-members are referred by the same member in April 2024, the original member will receive two months free in August 2024 and September 2024.

8. Referring members must be over 18 years of age to receive the free month.

9. This Offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.

10. This Offer is subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time.

11. Virgin Active reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions and this Offer at any time without notice, including in the event of fraudulent behaviour.

12. Virgin Active is not liable for the reproduction of this Offer or any indirect access via third party websites or otherwise and where such reproduction misstates or omits any of the information or Terms and Conditions connected with this Offer it shall not be valid. This Offer may only be offered to you by Virgin Active Limited.

13. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall be deemed to exclude or restrict any of the Eligible Persons’ statutory rights as a consumer. Details are accurate at time of writing. This Offer and its Terms and Conditions are governed by English law and is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
