Battle Ropes

Giant, heavy ropes, usually anchored to the wall. Weighing up to 20kg, they work every muscle in your body and give you a killer cardio workout, with none of the strain of high-impact exercise.

Basically a bag of sand. But there’s a reason Eastern European wrestlers use them for training. Shaped like a crescent moon and with handles at each end, these leather sacks improve your strength and agility in ways a solid weight can’t. It’s all down to their awkwardness – the instability works multiple muscles to stabilise joints and make them stronger.
